pretty acurate, the characters are spot on, as in, the parody was done just the right way as in it encompasses how they act in the show pretty acurately, but exagerated, of course.

I really like Steven Universe, but OH GOD, Steven can be super annoying, and sometimes the characters just let him get away and do absurdly stupid and irresponsible stuff, sometimes he screws everything up and in the end everyone laughs!

I dont know how they get along, if I had to deal with a stubborn brat like Steven I would probably hate him.

Anyway, great parody! Also the way you drew the characters is spot on, too!

I always found amusing those youtube videos made by kids with mumbled voices and horrible editing that uses windows movie maker and lame fonts and whatever. Whenever I want to look for some tutorial I stumble across one of those. This kid doesn't mumble but he is awkward so it captures the same idea.

Usually kids have no buying power or any idea of what they are talking about so I like how all he review is only the one thing he has, even on those thumbnails at the end.

It's also awesome how he credits his family in the end as if it was some big production and as if he only knows his own family or as if he wants to makes the credits longer or whatever, looks like the things I would do as a kid, of course there was no youtube back then but this really captures what a kid would do.

SO, all in all, captured what you wanted to capture, and managed to be entertaining and funny, great job!

At first I tought it was actually just drawings like a slide show, but then I've read the comments saying it slows down people's PCs, so I downloaded the animation to my PC, resized the window to make it smaller and use less processing, decreased my PC's resolution so I could see the animation bigger, and reduced the quality to low, then I was able to watch it without stuttering.
And my PC is pretty good, so, yep, there's something wrong with your flash.
After downloading the file I noticed the window wasn't resizing properly, so I presume you use a V-Cam, if that's the case, I'm pretty sure your problem is action script related, I really doubt a flash would lag that much with this level of detail, and it just doesn't make sense that something would make it lag for no reason other than programming. I know I installed a V-cam plug-in that made my flash stutter at times, but not this much. Try using a different V-Cam or removing any codes you used (if that's the case, I don't know if you actually use it). Of course I may be wrong, but I hope I helped.

About the flash itself, the art is amazing, congrats. I don't really like the part you picked, not my favorite from the podcast but whatever, it's just personal opinion, the important here is the animation I guess.

Overall, great job! I hope you fix the issues.

Pretty good!

This is very well put together, I can clearly see that you can create a story that makes sense and is funny without losing the balance and being too silly or random. Only complaint is that the audio quality could increase a little bit, of course there are subtitles so that helps. I watched a few of the older episodes and this is the best overall so far. The art quality is good, good enough to tell the story and deliver, but there's always room for improvement, of course.

thanks, I know the audio's not the best, but if I put the audio in mp3 format (which increases quality) the lip sych gets way off, and the timing gets all screwed up.

Beautiful

I came here every single day after this animation hit frontpage to give it a 5, It was so unfair that it was zero bombed, I can't even believe that people actually do this.
Anyway, this is a beautiful piece of animation, your skills are amazing, I wish that one day I can be as good as you.
Overall it was very fluid, smooth, everything was amazingly well done, the coloring, the movment, the pacing, the style. I'm guessing that animating this was painful as hell. And, errm, I don't usually do reviews because I never know what to say.
So...
